Dr. Biswajit Thander

CEO

Dr. Biswajit Thander, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Head of Geosciences holds a Master’s degree in Geophysics from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad and a Doctorate degree from Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU). His educational qualifications have provided a solid foundation in scientific principles and advanced technologies, which he leverages to drive innovation and strategic decision-making. His educational journey, marked by rigorous training and scholarly excellence, equips him to drive innovation, make informed strategic decisions, and lead the organization with a vision rooted in cutting-edge knowledge and industry expertise. His extensive experience in geophysics has honed his analytical and problem-solving skills, making him adept at navigating complex challenges.

As CEO, he leads with a deep understanding of the industry, fostering a culture of excellence and guiding the organization towards achieving its goals with a vision rooted in both technical proficiency and executive acumen of experience in seismic data interpretation, reservoir characterization, teaching, and software development. Dr. Thander has led numerous seismic data interpretation projects with both operator and global service provider companies. His expertise lies in seismic interpretation, inversion, and reservoir characterization, making him an invaluable asset to our team. Dr. Thander is dedicated to advancing geophysical methodologies and ensuring the highest accuracy in subsurface data evaluation.

Mr. Bhabananda Sikdar

Advisor, Technology Development

Mr. Sikdar is the Advisor, Technology Development, with a Master degree in Computer Application from Tezpur University, Assam with over 17 years of experience in developing specialized software. Mr. Sikdar has expertise in desktop, web, and mobile application development for Windows, Android, and iOS. He brings a comprehensive skill set to any project. His experience spans TCP/IP and multi-threaded applications, ensuring robust and efficient software performance. He has also developed proficiency in BIM applications, 3D modeling, and image processing, which have enhanced his versatility in different domains. His background in software design, team handling, and Agile methodology equips him to manage projects effectively and deliver high-quality output. Additionally, his strong communication skills enable him to understand and meet client needs, foster successful collaborations, and deliver quality project output.

Mr. Pratap V Nair

Chief Advisor Geology

Mr. Nair is the Chief Advisor and Head Geologist, and he holds a Master of Science in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines (IIT-ISM), Dhanbad. He also has a conferred Doctorate in Petroleum Geology and has completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) MDI, Gurgaon, Geomechanics Training at Petroskills, London, 2011. He has also attended numerous training programs conducted by Shell in Houston, London, Warri, Bangalore, and Kuala Lumpur on geomechanics, pore pressure prediction, geohazards, and exploration geology. He held various executive positions at ONGC and Shell and was primarily responsible for the exploration and development of oil and gas fields globally.

Mr. Nair, with an impressive career spanning over 30 years, has established himself as an expert in the field of geology and well delivery. His specialization includes planning and drilling deep water and high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) wells, where he applies his extensive knowledge to ensure successful and safe drilling operations. He excels at pore pressure prediction, a crucial aspect of maintaining well integrity and avoiding drilling hazards. Additionally, his expertise in identifying and mitigating geohazards, coupled with his profound understanding of geomechanics, has been instrumental in delivering wells efficiently and effectively. His vast experience, comprehensive subject matter knowledge and specialised skills in the field of exploration and development geology from cradle to commissioning of hydrocarbon related projects makes him an asset for dealing with new challenges and opportunities.
